Evaluation method of the
Feri EuroRating Asset Manager Award
The assignment of the Management Awards is based on the quantitative evaluation method of the funds categories. For each fund there is a quantitative evaluation that considers all three criteria rating score, performance of the last 12 months and volatility within the last 12 months. The results of all funds are accumulated to a total score weighing each fund in the same way. After that, the five companies with the highest total score are nominated.
Precondition for the participation in the categories Best Asset Manager equities and bonds is that at least eight funds of the company have been rated by Feri. The best suppliers of complete product ranges in Germany or Austria must have at least 25 Feri-ratings, in Switzerland only 20 whereas at least one rated equity-, bond- and mixed-asset fund. Boutiques must have between eight and 24 Feri-rated funds including at least one equity and bonds funds.
The evaluation of the special category Best ETF-Provider is based on two independent market surveys within private and institutional investors.
